Step 1. Download and install

Step 2. Input commands
First, please open MS-DOS command prompt window so that you are able to input commands.

pcltool [options] <pcl-file> [<pdf-file>]
Where:
- pcltool: call the program
- [options]: set parameters

- -mapfont <string> :Map fonts by mapfont.ini file
- -embedfonts <string> : Embed mapped fonts into PDF file, yes or no
For example,
pcltool.exe -mapfont "C:\mapfont.ini" C:\in.pcl C:\out.pdf
pcltool.exe -mapfont "C:\mapfont.ini" -embedfonts yes C:\in.pcl C:\out.pdf
The first example is to convert a PCL file to a PDF document and map fonts by mapfont.ini file into the converted PDF document. The second example is to map fonts by mapfont.ini file and embed mapped fonts into the created PDF file during the conversion from a PCL file to a PDF file.
After inputting the commands, please press the Enter button on the keyboard to run the commands.
Several seconds later, you can get the output PDF document in the specified location.
