How to convert PXL/PCL to color image and compress image

To compress the converted images, please use the following options:

-colorimg <int> :Set compression method for color image

  • -colorimg 0 : no change compression for color image file
  • -colorimg 1 :compress color image file with JPEG arithmetic
  • -colorimg 2 : compress color image file with JPEG2000 arithmetic

For example,

pcltool.exe -colorimg 2 C:\in.pcl C:\out.jpg

This example is to convert a PCL file to JPG image and compress the color image file with JPEG2000 arithmetic.

When hitting on Enter button on the keyboard, the commands will run and you will be able to get the target file in specified location.
