The application EEPDF PCL to PDF Converter allows you to convert PCL to image of different resolutions.
PCL (Printer Control Language) is the standard print file format for HP LaserJet-compatible printers. PCL file can be created from any Windows application by simply “printing to file” with LaserJet-compatible printer and PCL driver set as the current Windows printer, or by redirecting UNIX LaserJet-compatible printer queue to a file. Due to this limit compatibility, sometimes you need to convert the PCL files to images. EEPDF PCL to PDF Converter is a Windows application that can convert PCL files to images (PostScript, JPG, BMP, TIF, etc.). It can also set image resolution to the converted images.
To convert PCL file to image and set resolution for the output image, please read the following paragraphs:
Firstly, please download the package of EEPDF PCL to PDF Converter and install it on your computer. It will run after you install it.
Secondly, please add the PCL file by clicking the Add File(s)button in the toolbar at the bottom of the main interface to add the PCL files.
Thirdly, please click the Setting button in the toolbar. You can see the setting interface on your screen and there are five tabs in the interface. The default one is “Base Setting”.
In the Base Setting tab, please select an output image format in the drop-down list of “Output format”.
In the Save Image Mode tab, please choose a resolution in the drop-down list of “Image Resolution”. Then, please click the OK button at the bottom of the interface to enact the settings. Please see it in the next snapshot.
Lastly, please click the Start button in the toolbar on the main interface to start to convert the PCL file to image. In popup window, please choose output destination and input the file name for the converted image.
