The application EEPDF Document Converter Professional allows you to create PDF and set page border with virtual printer on Windows platforms.
The so-called virtual printer resembles a printer driver, but it is not connected with a physical computer printer. People can use it to save a document to another format such as a PDF file. EEPDF Document Converter Professional offers two virtual printers (eePDF PDF Driver and docPrint) that support to print any printable documents to PDF and other common formats. In addition, you can customize the page border, page margin, page number position, watermark, etc. for the target PDF document.
Just with four simple steps, you can generate PDF from printable HTML, TEXT, PS (PostScript), Word, etc. documents and set PDF page layout.
Step 1. Download and run

After the download, please run this software on your computer. When you run this software, a pop-up window will ask you whether to set docPrint as the default printer. For your use convenience, please click Yes button in the pop-up window.
Step 2. Open printable document and activate“print” process
After you successfully run the software, you can find two virtual printers— eePDF PDF Driver and docPrint in the "Printers and Faxes" list on your computer. Please open a printable document and activate the "print" process. Then, an interface titled "docPrint" will pop up on the screen.
Step 3. Set page border
Along with the "docPrint" window, you can also see a small window named "Option Settings" on the screen. In the drop-down list of "Page Border" within the small "Option Settings" window, you can choose a type of page border— None, Separator, or Frame. You can preview the effect in left side of the "docPrint" window. Please see it in the following snapshot.
Step 4. Save as PDF
Please click File in the menu bar, and then select the item "Save As" in the drop-down list to open the "Save As" window. In the drop-down list of "Save as type", please select PDF as the target format. In the "File name" edit box, please edit a name for the PDF. Then, please click the Save button.
A few minutes later, you can get the created PDF in the specified location.
