PRN to PDF Converter – Convert PRN to PDF

PRN is a format supported by printers, using which the printer directly prints the file of the format to papers or other media. The printer driver created a PRN file for transiting the file to the printer. PRN format is not widely supported by common applications in personal computers, and you can convert your PRN files to PS (PostScript) format that is a standard industrial printing format. This page is to introduce the conversion tool named PRN to PS Converter.

step 1. The main interface is like the one presented in the following screen snapshot. In the main window of the program, it is a table of file list that lists the PRN files to be converted. Above the table is the menu bar and below are the function buttons.

To add your PRN files into the file list, you can use one of the following four methods:
Select [File] [Add Files], and select your files with the Windows file picker.
Select [File] [Add Directory], and choose the directory that contains the PRN files.
Press the button of [Add File(s)] in the main window and select the PRN files in the dialog box of Windows file picker.
Drag your PRN files from the Windows Explorer and drop them into the file list.

To convert your files of PRN to PS, you have to set the conversion parameters after adding those files into the file list. Press the button [Setting] in the main window and come to the dialog box of setting. The setting dialog box is like that in the next screen snapshot.

In the tab of [Base Setting] of the dialog box, choose the target format, ps, in the dropdown list of “Output format” and press [OK] to complete the basic setting. You may also choose the paper size in the dropdown list of “Page Size”. After finishing the setting, the program comes to its main window again, and you can press the button [Start] to start the conversion. At the last step, you have to set the target directory for saving those converted PS files.
