How to print PDF and add watermark to PDF with virtual printer

The Windows application EEPDF Document Converter Professional allows you print PDF and add watermark to PDF with virtual printer.

Watermark is a recognizable pattern or image in paper that appears as various shades of lightness/darkness, which is often used as security features of banknotes, passports, postage stamps, etc. to protect copyright and prevent counterfeiting. The two virtual printers offered by EEPDF Document Converter Professional can print any printable documents to PDF with watermarks, page numbers, page border, etc.

To know how to use the virtual printers offered by this application to create PDF with watermarks, please do as follow:

Firstly, please download this application via clicking the following button, and the install it on the computer. After the installation, you will see two virtual printers (docPrint and eePDF PDF Driver) in "Printers and Faxes" list on your computer.download  EEPDF Document Converter Professional

Secondly, please open a printable document (e.g., web pages, DOCX, PPT, etc.), and then please open the "Print" window by clicking the hotkeys Ctrl + P on the keyboard at the same time. In the drop-down list of Name within the "Print" window, please select docPrint as the virtual printer. After that, please click the OK button. Then, you can see the "docPrint" interface and a small  "Option Settings" window on the screen.

In the drop-down list of  "Watermark" within the small "Option Settings" window, you can choose a type of watermark—None, Confidential, Company Confidential, Draft, Final, Internal Use Only, Proof, Top Secret, or Urgent.

What’s more, you can also make some settings for the watermarks after you click "…" button beside "Watermark" drop-down box. In the pop-up "Watermark Options" window, you can rename the existed watermark in the drop-down list of "Watermark name". You can also set the related parameters for the watermark in the "Watermark attrib" panel. Please see it in the following snapshot.

Lastly, in the "docPrint" interface, please choose "Save As…" item in the File menu. In the pop-up "Save As" window, please select PDF as the target format in the drop-down list of  "Save as type:". Before clicking the Save button to start the process, you also need to specify an output location and file name for the created PDF document

Just a few seconds later, you can get the printed PDF document with watermarks in specified location.
