PDF Page Extractor – Extract Pages from PDF
PDF file format is a popular document storage format in office document processing. Demands for processing PDF documents are increasing with the file format being more and more broadly used. The tool named eePDF Page Extractor is a useful application for extracting your specified pages from a pdf file.
Step 1. The function interface is snapshot as follow. The tab [Split PDF file/Extract pages] is for the function of extracting pages from a pdf files and save the extracted pages as one or more pdf files.
In the tab, the textbox of “Source PDF file” is for specifying the path for the original pdf file. Pages will be extracted from the specified pdf file. You can directly input the path and name of the pdf file or press button [Browse] to select the file via Windows Explorer “Open” dialog. The button of [View] is for viewing the selected original pdf file.
The group box named “Options” provides the options for extracting pages from the source pdf file. “Split by bookmarks” is to extract the pages using the bookmarks as cut points, which means pages between two bookmarks will be extracted into one separate output pdf file. “Split by every NUMBER pages” is to extract every NUMBER pages into one separate pdf file. “Split the document into single pages” is to extract every page of the original pdf file into a separate pdf file. “Specify pages” is to manually input the extract ranges that pages of each range will be extracted and saved into one separate pdf file. It supports these types of commands for setting the extraction ranges, “-4” (the pages form 1 to 4 will be extracted into one separate pdf file), “5-” (the pages form 5 to the last page will be extracted in to one separate pdf file), “7-10” (the pages from 7 to 10 will be extracted into one separate pdf file), “odd” (the odd number pages will be extracted into one single pdf file) and “reverse” (the page order will be reversed in the output pdf file). The command input in the textbox can be any combination of those types above.
In the group box of “Output directory”, check the box of “Same as source” to save the output pdf file with the same path as the original one. You can specify an output path in the text box or via pressing the button of [Browse] beside the textbox.
Press the button [Options] to activate the dialog as displayed in the next snapshot. Check the boxes to retain the “Bookmarks” and “AcroForms” of the original pdf files in the extraction.
After setting all options, press the button [Run] to start the extraction process.
